Cala Spalmatore

On the island of La Maddalena’s north-east coast we can find Cala Spalmatore, always protected from the winds by two pink granite headlands that surround it. With its fine-grained sand, the beach is surrounded by rocks and the Mediterranean scrub. The sea has emerald green and blue colors, with a seabed that is sandy and shallow to the south, rocky and deeper to the north.

Administrative penalties, set by Regional Regulations and Navigation Code, start from a minimum of 500,00€. It’s forbidden to smoke and use single-use plastic on all the beaches of the Archipelago. Administrative penalties start from a minimum of 25,00€.

Montebello21 ✓ Anchor Boaters’ access to the beaches is only allowed by rowing boats, using the appropriate corridors and for the time necessary to disembark people or things.
