Fishing, Diving and Yachting
The Geomarine Park of La Maddalena Archipelago covers an area of approximately 18,000 hectares and 180 kilometers of coasts and is part of the area called Sanctuary for marine mammals. The National Park includes both the marine and terrestrial areas (among the most important islands La Maddalena, Caprera, Santo Stefano, Budelli, Santa Maria, Razzòli and Spargi) and represents a very significant part of the territory of the Italian state. In 2010, with the Natural Reserve of Bocche di Bonifacio, will constitute the Bocche di Bonifacio International Marine Park, collaborating constantly and tirelessly in the protection of biodiversity with increasingly significant results.
Permits can be obtained for free only by going to the Authorization Office of Park Authority. Please note that for non-residents only sport fishing from land is allowed and authorizations are issued within the limit of 100 for each month (children under 16 are not required to carry a permit).
Navigation authorizations can be obtained by connecting to the Online Portal of the Park, going to one of the affiliated structures or, alternatively, going to the Authorization Office of the Park Authority of La Maddalena.
Please note that boaters who do not carry a permit, before entering the marine area of the park with their boat, commit a violation of current regulations.
